Stand with Ukraine! Thanks to everyone who supports us at this difficult time during the Russian aggression!
We will find ourselves at the Coastal Battery Memorial. The memorial arose after the Second World War. During the war years, one of the four artillery batteries defending Odessa was located here. In 1941, the battery took part, supporting the role of the Red Army in the defense of Odessa. After the war, a park was set up here, an open-air museum was created, which presents various samples of Soviet weapons: from light artillery pieces to makeshift tanks, armored trains, and even a unique submarine. There is a small museum on the territory of the memorial. Its exposition tells about the events of the defense of Odessa in 1941, about the liberation of the city in 1944. During the tour, you can see, photograph and even touch many samples of military equipment of the Soviet era. What could be more interesting than climbing onto the legendary T-34 tank or visiting a minesweeper that is over 70 years old?
