Casa Carmen is on the edge of the pretty,popular village of Alajar in the largest natural park in Andalucia, situated in the south west corner of Spain.
Alajar is said to be the jewel in the Sierra de Aracena park because it is nestled under La Pena de Arias Montano a national monument on a rocky outcrop above the village dating back to the 16th century. From here there are spectacular views of the beautiful verdant countryside with cork, oak fruit and olive trees all around.
