Our practice will take place in a quiet corner of Lumphini Park, right in the center of Bangkok. We will start the session with meditation and Pranayama (breathing exercises), moving on to asana flows. During the retreat, we will be performing healing and strengthening exercises. Hi. I am Helen Jeongju Kim. In this workshop, I will not only teach you how to write beautifully, but also how to experience the joy of carving a handcrafted seal. You will create a design using your name. During this activity, your mind will relax and you will experience healing through the slow analog, tactile sensibility of everyday life. I will teach you how to design and carve your name with a engraving knife on a small stone. First, I shows two ways to engrave the seal and demonstrates how to carve with a carving knife.(straight line, circle, etc.) Then I helps you learn to hold the engraving tool and practice properly. Next, I show the way to design the names and help to design according to syllable of name. You go for it and then cover with ink of Korean style and take a stamp. Once the engraving is over, you can choose a elegant case for your stone seal. It will be an opportunity to rethink the meaning of your name that you have forgotten while carving the seal. When you return home, you'll enjoy looking at the stamp you carved and remembering your travels. I'll write down a message for you in K-calligraphy after you have stamp your seal on a postcard I prepare. Public transportation is convenient. You will follow the journey of rice from the paddy field to the authentic noodle ‘factory’, before following its paths to the local market where you can see it sold and sample the noodles in the authentic market setting. Likewise, visit a bean sprout producer and learn about this ancient tradition before seeing them for sale on local stalls. You’ll also sample rice cakes with Mung bean curd, local deserts freshly cooked in market stalls. Later in the tour meet one of the few sellers of Chinese sesame soup and learn about the history of this interesting family, before sampling Banh Mi and admiring the French influence. Lastly, try a Vietnamese coffee! On the way learn about Family Shrines and traditions as well as a host of other fascinating facts about our wonderful city.

Introducing with tea ceremony Matcha green tea and Wagashi sweets Next we'll watch a real Japanese katana—a traditional sword used by the samurai of ancient and feudal Japan. Then you'll learn how to handle it with unsharpened katana. We'll also do a traditional Zen meditation. It's called "Rituzen". After doing meditation, you will be calm mind and you can cut one bundle of straw with real sword. Through using with real katana yourself, you can feel one part of swordsmanship as samurai. Lastly, you'll watch a performance using real katana by host. This experience has no flashy production, but you can feel the "real". You can enjoy not only training but also total samurai culture with this time. More than over 50country, over 3000 people joined. During the farm tour, we will pick the ingredients that we are going to use during the cooking class for a true farm to table cooking experience. Following the drink, we will prepare six Balinese dishes, such as tuna sate and corn fritters. Students are able to participate as much or as little as they would like. Mount Batur is the most ultimate destination for sunrise trekking in Bali. The tour to the summit of Mount Batur will start at 04:00 am in the morning, the trip from the beginning (start point) to the summit will take approximately one and a half hours and all the way up to the summit will take 5 times break before reaching the finish point, after the top, We will let you to take a rest & waiting for the sunrise from the very top of the volcano. Lapse for a while, We prepared everything to provide you the breakfast & hot drinks, the experience to have breakfast with a beautiful sunrise and the great view from the top of Mount Batur will make it hard for you to forget, because Mount Batur is one of the most beautiful place in Bali to enjoy these views.
