Kayaking in Belgrade, Great War Island
The plan is to start from our club , where you will get the needed equipment (safety vests, paddle and kayak). Before we start, the instructor will introduce you to the basics of rowing and kayaking – prior knowledge isn’t needed. We will be rowing to the beach Lido (located on the northern part of the island), and if the weather is adequate, we can have a swim in the river. Further we’ll continue along the coast and make a circle around the Great War Island and return to the starting point. This adventure lasts 2 hours, but if you want it can take longer.
Two hours Sightseeing Cruise, Drinks Included
Your unforgettable journey will begin in the beautiful district of Zemun, known for its impressive architecture and landscape. Enter the delta of Danube and Sava and approach the Kalemegdan fortress, the largest park, and the most important historical monument in Belgrade. Pass under all major Belgrade bridges. Observe the modern and old city from the best viewpoint. Learn about Belgrade's culture and rich history. The most exciting way to explore Belgrade with your friends or family.
From Belgrade to Pančevo - into the wild
We will start our biking tour from my garage in Cvijićeva 134. Here you will be given the bikes that you will use on the tour. I will also provide some refreshments for the journey. From here we will follow a bike path to the bridge on Danube river, a bridge known by the name Pančevac. Once we cross the bridge we will follow the dam down the Danube and all the way to the small town of Pančevo. This trip is actually going to be an off-road ride so prepare for a bumpy road. All the way to the Pančevo we will actually be in nature and by the marshes of Danube. Here you will be able to see many different birds that live in marshlands like swans, ducks, herons, cormorants... Different amphibians and reptiles are also a common site on this hidden road but don't be afraid, they are not dangerous. Here you will have many opportunities to stop and make nice pictures or chill out by the water. In the town of Pančevo, we will enter through an old bridge that goes over the small river Tamiš. In Pančevo we will stop for a meal, it can be either famous "burek with kolenica", that is a warm recommendation, or you can eat a regular Serbian "pljeskavica". We will circle around Pančevo where I will show you its treasures, like old abandoned factories and its beautiful city core. After we finish with sightseeing of Pančevo we will head back the same way we came, by the dam and back to the garage. Other things to note During the tour, we will have to cross two bridges. The traffic on Pančevac can be very heavy but we will use the sidewalk, as for the bridge in Pančevo we need to be careful because it is a small bridge without the sidewalk. Generally, the entire road is flat and without any serious hills.
