Enjoy Utrecht at it's best! By kayak we will navigate the famous Old Canal with its vibrant 'wharves'. Along the way I'll tell you all about the fascinating history of this town. This kayaktour is a one-of-a-kind experience! The kayaktour starts at the Domsquare/Domplein. From there we'll have a guided 15 min. walk to the kayaks. After boarding you will navigate the green and lush ring canal. Halfway there is a small break. A drink is included in the price. After the break we paddle through the famous Old Canal; the lively heart of the city of Utrecht. During the tour I’ll tell you everything you’d like to know about the history of Utrecht and Dutch culture. I’m looking forward meeting you! We'll be meeting you at the local dispensary that we are cooperating with. Here we will buy the special ingredient together as a group. After, we will walk back to our workspace where the experience will start. We will be teaching you how to make delicious brownies (9 pieces per pair) and gummy’s, step by step. Meanwhile, we would love to educate you on the Netherlands in general, such as it’s history, culture and customs. As well as telling the story about its extraordinary relationship with cannabis. We find it of paramount importance to facilitate a safe, welcoming, and trustworthy environment for everyone who wants to participate. Even if you just would want to observe, and instead learn how to make normal brownies and gummies from scratch, you are very welcome to join. We cater to vegan and gluten-free dietary wishes but only with a minimum of 2 people since the baking takes place in pairs. These options are only for the brownies; gummies include gelatine. The 'Veluwe' is the place to be in The Netherlands when it comes to hiking through forests, 'heide' and spotting wildlife - from small birds to large mammals like deer and wild boars. Being in nature is my greatest passion and during my everyday hikes, I've discovered the best routes in the neighbourhood to walk on and to admire nature, and probably even spot a deer or two. Depending on the time of the day and your own wishes, there are three options I'm happy to offer you: 1. A scenic route, with some nice vantage points to take great photos. We will go alongside and even through both WW1 and WW2 original and unmarked trenches. This route takes you through varied terrein such as sand, open plain, forest and dirt tracks. 2. The wildlife hike. I designed this track myself based on places where I've spotted deer and wild boars. Best time is in the late afternoon, but during the day the forest is a very relaxing place. 3. Want me to guide you through the Hoge Veluwe / Veluwezoom? No problem, just message me :) On the way, I will be more than happy to tell you everything about Dutch wildlife and (if you're interested) wildlife and landscape photography. Just be sure to bring along your camera gear, some good hiking boots and be sure to wear appropriate clothing for the time of the day and year. The biketour starts from the Domsquare and follows calm bicycle lanes through the old city centre. Along the way, I will tell you everything you want to know about the history of Utrecht. This shoot is NOT in Amsterdam! It's in the cute city of Leiden, which I sometimes call "small Amsterdam". With similar houses at the canals and cute little streets, it looks a lot like Amsterdam but more local & less crowdy. We will do a photoshoot at the most beautiful places in the city. The Castle, Pieterskerk, cute streets and beautiful spots along the canals. TIME IS NEGOTIABLE! In summer, sunrise & sunset are the best times. Is it raining? Then we can reschedule or use umbrella's and dance in the rain ;) (No last minute cancellation due to rain) A shoot includes 25 edited photo's, you can pick your own favorites. Suitable for those who have never done a shoot before. Since I have a lot of experience in front of the camera, I can also help you with poses :) I am a local, I grew up in this city, so I know all the nice places. I travel a lot myself, as a digital nomad. So, I like to show people my city when I am in the country! Wear clothes you feel comfortable in. If you don't feel comfortable, it will show in the photos.
